Located just four miles away from the Atlantic Ocean, Euphoria Day Spa and Salon embraces the color palette and curving lines of the sea to create a calming oasis for clients.

As the customer enters the salon, the front desk with its original design of tile, granite and wave panels welcomes. The soothing colors of the beach and the curved design of the floor tile are cool and inviting.

As the customer moves to the sophisticated styling area, ghost lighted full length mirrors and plush tufted chairs await. The custom ceiling mounted dryers add to the modern look, in addition to reducing tension and fatigue in the stylists’ shoulders. The layout of the room intentionally enhances the spaciousness of the area and the earth tones of the décor add warmth and encourage relaxation.

Separated from the main area by farm hung French door sliders is the shampoo room. Four chairs that bank a spacious backlighted white wall paneled with a wave design, adjustable lighting, and special music create the quiet room where customers can request lengthy scalp massages. The chairs and bowls designed in France are adjustable and remotely controlled.

The salon’s floor plan was designed to promote profitability by promoting cross selling of complimentary services, like hairstyling, coloring, massage, manicures and pedicures. Euphoria Day Salon offers this variety of services to invite customers to expand their choices and indulge.

“When my sister first moved to New York City, she called home so excited, not about the Empire State Building or the Statue of Liberty, but about the hair salon she had found,” said Euphoria Salon designer Adrienne Chandler. “She was amazed at the amenities and creative design which she had never seen before in our small city of Melbourne. My goal was to create that kind of salon in Melbourne. Now our town has its own “big city” upscale salon.”
